Chinese New Year!
The children had a wonderful time celebrating Chinese New Year! Reading stories, role play with the Chinese Dragon and sensory play with coloured noodles.
We completed some wonderful activities during our summer terms, learning about animals!
The children loved creating their very own crocodiles, giraffes and parrots using a variety of tools and methods. Finger painting allowed children to develop fine motor skills whilst exploring colours and textures.
We focused on 2D shapes, making the most of our outdoor space to make learning fun and exciting! The children loved using chalks to draw their owns shapes and identified shapes in circle games with their friends.
The children were excited to use shapes in their craft activities, creating a cat using 2D squares and adding triangular teeth to their scary crocodiles!
